Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy
Renewable energy solutions are becoming cheaper, more reliable, and more efficient every day. Implementing new energy solutions as fast as possible is essential to counter climate change and help our economy grow.

Resilient Communities Grant Through the Resilient Communities Grant program, we’ve provided grants for projects focused on clean energy production.

Community Development Planning Our planning services focus on the triple bottom line: People, Planet, and shared Prosperity.
Our staff is happy to serve on the Advisory Committee of the Clean Energy Resource Teams.

Community Funds We support community funds in their pursuit of their local and global goals.

Take Action - Turn off your air conditioning, especially when sleeping.
- Don’t use multiple devices at the same time.
- Opt-in to off-peak electricity with your provider.
- Unplug electronics and appliances when not in use.
- Turn off lights and fans when you leave a room.
- Use solar energy sources when possible. Install solar panels on your home for heating and electricity. Use solar-enabled technology, such as a radio, flashlight, or charger pack.
