Sustainable Communities Network: North Circle Seeds Field Trip

Join the Sustainable Communities Network for a field trip to North Circle Seeds in Vergas, Minnesota! Owner Zachary Paige will talk about his work with the University of Minnesota Extension Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships focused on supporting rural grocers, organic agriculture, and why he started North Circle Seeds.

Zachary will lead us on a tour that includes the seed saving operation/pack house, seed starting in his new greenhouse, food storage in a root cellar, solar panel with battery system and more. A locally sourced lunch from Manna Food Co-op and seed samples will be provided to registered participants.
