West Central Initiative Welcomes Isabel Fynboh as a Summer 2025 Marketing and Communications Intern
Reading Time:
Isabel Fynboh has joined West Central Initiative as the Summer 2025 Marketing and Communications intern. In her role, she’ll contribute to content creation, support our social media efforts, and help promote key events.
Originally from Morris, Minnesota, Isabel is a senior at Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, Minnesota, pursuing a Business Management and Marketing degree with a minor in Public Health. She’s on the women’s track and field team and is involved in Gustavus Women in Leadership, Big Partner Little Partner, and the Track and Field Service and Justice Leadership Team.
Isabel works in the Gustavus Marketing and Communications office during the school year, where she gained experience in digital communication as a founding creative for the college’s official student-led Instagram account.
“I’ve always loved stories and creativity. Marketing and communications blends these two passions, allowing me to intentionally apply them to my career,” Isabel said.
“We’re excited to have Isabel join our communications team this summer,” said Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Casey. “She’ll share meaningful stories from our region and bring a fresh perspective to our communications work.”
Isabel was drawn to West Central Initiative because of the organization’s mission and values. “Growing up in rural Minnesota, I developed a deep appreciation for small communities,” Isabel said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to use and develop my professional skills while contributing to meaningful work that benefits my community and surrounding communities.”
Outside of work and school, Isabel loves spontaneous trips, bookstores, sunny days, running trails, and a good iced-coffee.
Welcome to the team, Isabel!
