
Greta Hentges Joins West Central Initiative as Marketing & Communications Specialist

West Central Initiative welcomes Greta Hentges as its new Marketing & Communications Specialist. In this role, Greta will help lead communication planning efforts, oversee the organization’s social media strategy, and enhance its digital storytelling. Additionally, she will collaborate as a strategic partner with the West Central Initiative team to advance its regional mission, with a strong focus on economic and community development.
“We’re thrilled to have Greta join the West Central Initiative team as our new Marketing & Communications Specialist,” said Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Casey. “Having interned with us for the past two summers, she has already demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication. As a recent college graduate, Greta’s fresh ideas and enthusiasm will be invaluable to our ongoing projects and initiatives.”
Originally from Morris, Minnesota, Greta Hentges recently completed her bachelor’s degree in marketing at the University of North Dakota and is eager to put her skills into action.
“During my internship, I was inspired by the team’s commitment to making a meaningful difference in our region,” Greta shared. “I’m excited to bring my creativity and passion to this role and amplify the stories and initiatives that help our communities thrive. I look forward to building more connections and sharing the impact of our work.”
In her spare time, Greta enjoys traveling to new cities and countries, cooking new recipes, attending concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
