Otto Bremer Trust Community Responsive Fund
As a trusted partner, we’ll award grants to organizations across the region from the Otto Bremer Trust Community Responsive Fund.
The Otto Bremer Trust has shared updated priorities and eligibility guidelines for 2026. The Trustees provided very specific priorities and eligibility requirements. Because of this focused approach and the limited number of eligible organizations in our region, there will not be an open application process. We’ll engage directly with a select group of eligible organizations in our region.
Only organizations that meet the Trust’s criteria will be considered, and West Central Initiative will contact those organizations directly.
If you have questions, or believe your organization is eligible, please contact Grants Officer Amanda Quam.

Through our funding opportunities and expert guidance, you can drive meaningful change in your community.
Here’s how:
- Create a more sustainable and equitable region by tapping into West Central Initiative Grants.
- Support your small business by collaborating with us to identify state and federal grant programs.
- Access grant writing tips and assistance.
- Help address local needs by working with us to identify, apply for, and secure grants.

The most powerful way to make a difference is through community-driven action. Across our region, residents have joined together to raise funds for local projects by creating Component Funds. These funds are our largest source of grantmaking in the region, and they’re driven by people like you.
