Overview
Dear friends and family of Pelican Landing:
Our Dad, Richard (Dick) Krauth, so appreciated the loving care given to him by all the staff while he lived at Pelican Landing. Many staff members were either in school or expressed their desire to further their education in healthcare fields.
We want to honor and thank these exceptional employees. Knowing the challenges faced by the Healthcare industry these days, we reached out to the Pelican Landing leadership team about establishing a scholarship fund. We are excited to share with you that a scholarship fund has been established and will be administered through the West Central Initiative nonprofit community foundation. This will be a 501C3 fund exclusively for current Pelican Landing staff to further their education in any of the fields of Healthcare. Our family has made an initial contribution to the fund.
We would like to invite you to add financially to this fund so more or larger scholarships could be awarded and to sustain this scholarship for years to come. A board has been established to review the applications and award the scholarships. There will be a retention component tied to the scholarship to assure that staff who benefit from the scholarship will remain at Pelican Landing. We hope to award the first scholarships for fall semester 2023. Please prayerfully consider a donation to honor the exceptional, loving Pelican Landing team members.
