West Central Initiative and University of Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership: Preparing for Extreme Weather

West Central Initiative and the University of Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership are convening city clerks, managers, and administrators and public works directors to learn more about how they respond to extreme weather and what tools can be developed to help rural cities and counties cope with increased extreme weather events.  

Join us for an afternoon of presentations and discussion. Hear from a UMN Extension educator about how extreme weather events are increasing across our region and how they will impact community resilience. The program will include ample time to share your experiences about how extreme weather is currently impacting your communities and what tools and resources would help your community be better prepared for extreme weather in the future.

We’ll also provide lunch from Fish Factor 108 in Fergus Falls.
