WCI - Promising Strategies

Over the past four years, 64 Minnesota Early Childhood Initiative coalition communities have developed projects and activities that are replicable for other communities. These Promising Strategies have been compiled here into a master list that can serve as a source for ideas about literacy, community engagement, advocacy, and school readiness projects. Ideas range from long-range, sustained projects to short-term activities or events that can be used by ECFE, School Readiness, child care and parent organizations with a wide variety of resources.

We hope this list will be a source of inspiration and idea-generation for you to help create quality care and education opportunities for the young children in your community!
